Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan in 2017 and returned to the Kootenays to work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Motivated by the shared successes with families and children, she completed her Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Arizona State University in 2019 and became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in 2020. She continues to expand her knowledge and experience in the field of early intervention by attending conferences, reviewing the continually advancing research in ABA, and pursuing mentorship in new and exciting areas of learning and development. Rachel is on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP) as a Category A Behaviour Consultant.

Board Certified Behaviour Analyst

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst ™ (BCBA) is someone who possess a Masters Degree, has 225 hours of specific Graduate-level coursework, has been supervised by someone approved by the BACB for 75 hours, has at least 1500 hours of supervised independent fieldwork, and has passed the comprehensive Behavior Analyst Certification Examination.
