Carey began working in the field of early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) in 1995 in Calgary Alberta as an interventionist, and found her passion. She completed her B.A. in Speech Sciences with additional coursework in special education and educational psychology in 2007 from the University of British Columbia. She then earned her Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from Arizona State University in 2017. Carey remains current in her knowledge and understanding of autism spectrum disorders and applied behavior analysis through regularly attending workshops and conferences, and reviewing the latest research. Carey is pleased to be working with an organization that embraces contemporary ABA, working collaboratively with families and children to build capacity.
